Happy Holidays – The Contest

Now that the holiday season is almost upon us, , , , and , proudly presents “Happy Holidays – The Contest” . From Photography to Poetry to Digital and Traditional Art, there’s no better way to celebrate the holidays than by having a contest about it.

To join, simply come up with a new artwork that is about a holiday in your country. You can write a poem about your Independence Day or take a photo of your Thanksgiving dinner or draw an image of a Christmas tree. The possibilities are endless and it’s all up to you to interpret it.

The mechanics are simple.
1. Submit 1 entry per medium to one of the groups mentioned above.
2. The artwork should be new (posted in dA from Oct 1 onwards).
3. The contest entry should have a link of the page of the co-hosts and of this news article.
4. Your entries should either be a photo, a poem, a digital painting, or a traditional drawing.
5. You must be a member of at least TWO of the participating hosts.

Below are the don’ts.
1. Do not submit multiple entries. Again, only ONE entry per medium per deviant.
2. Do not submit the same deviation to multiple groups.
3. Do not submit an artwork that is not yours.
4. Do not forget to add the links in your artist’s comments for us to know that the artwork is your contest entry.

Judging will be based on two things. 50% Substance (relevance to the theme) and 50% Execution (technical aspects of the artwork).
